During the past five years, about 75% of the transactions that Phoenix has successfully placed have been with non-bank financial institutions. This primarily reflects the fact that many banks have curtailed their commercial lending activities, particularly to small business loans. At the same time, a number of large non-bank institutions have aggressively expanded their commercial lending operations. Phoenix has established excellent relationships with over 50 different financial institutions.
